Elements program for women with cancer
Studies have shown that the appearance-related effects of cancer treatment can have a significant impact on the lives of patients. This is a fact from the American Cancer Society’s research.
Our mission is to provide women with overall health benefits that focus on mind, body and spirit.
When a friend is diagnosed with cancer we offer a hand delivered gift basket that includes soup, candy, a shawl, and gift certificates for a haircut, manicure, massage and skin treatment. All of the products will come from local businesses that support the idea of giving hope to our neighbors.
The gift basket is valued at $400, but can be purchased from SOS Health Care for $50, (while funding allows) which includes our delivery fee anywhere in Horry County.
Our free yoga classes are every Monday night at Pepper Geddings Recreation Center from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Amanda Wooten Powell instructs on a series of supportive poses to nurture and nourish the body during active treatment of Cancer and for the Warriors who survived.
